International Womens Day March - Sydney Mar 05

Origins  leads the march in 1995

Many thanks to all the girls and our honourary mother Des who showed up for the march. We were 20 strong all dressed in black and wearing our logo; we made our presence felt by beating our drums and making a racket with our shakers, whistles etc, we were told that we were the largest and noisiest group on the day.....great news. We want next year to be bigger. So put it in your diary for next year.

These are a few images of the march that took place on Sat 5th March earlier this year.

Mothers Day Service at the Wayside Chapel Kings Cross 25th May 2008

The service was a lovely day persented by our wonderful Pamella Vernon-Souris  and  shared by mothers and adoptees we had the privilege of  meeting some new mums and their friends and supporters.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Standing Bear a Canadian  Indian bought to Australia and adopted here at the age of 2 weeks.

Standing Bear gave a beautiful tribute to mothers and so did the Reverend Graham, all in all it was both healing and spititual and those that attended left feeling both happy and comforted

We look forward to seeing more mums at our next Mothers day meeting Edit Text
